On October 1, 2017 Central Penn Insurance Agency successfully purchased the 30-year old Bloomsburg based Keystone Insurance Associates, Inc. Along with acquiring a talented and experienced staff, Central Penn Insurance Agency LLC acquired several desirable new contracts with other insurance companies that can now be offered to local clients. Keystone Insurance Associates, Inc. was founded in 1988 and specializes in several niche markets including municipalities, student housing, legion clubs, bars/restaurants, and home/auto packages. According to Central Penn Insurance owner Chris Mazza, “The purchase of Keystone Insurance Associates will be a huge asset to Central Penn’s existing clients and prospective clients. With additional markets, our already competitive rates will be even better, and the addition of more office staff will mean even faster turnaround on quotes and service requests.
