Every few years the NAIC – National Association of Insurance Commissioners – pools together a mountain of data to come up with a list of average auto insurance rates by state. Pennsylvania didn’t make the cut, but being licensed in New Jersey I can confidently say to Pennsylvania residents that we don’t have it as bad as our neighbors in New Jersey do. Anyhow, here’s the top 10:
- Idaho – $639.19
- Iowa – $656.43
- Maine – $663.63
- Wisconsin – $666.79
- South Dakota – $690.95
- Ohio – $713.25
- North Dakota – $714.75
- North Carolina – $720.73
- Vermont – $721.33
- Indiana – $723.08
